CONSULTANT PROFILE

Nimesh Nambiar
Nimesh is the founder and main researcher at Phosphene. Prior to this role, he was Partner at Point Consultancy, another Dubai-based research consultancy for 5 years and worked with Synovate, AMRB (Now TNS Kantar) & Grey Worldwide earlier in his career.

He’s a qualitative researcher with 13+ years of handy knowledge running projects independently & leading key accounts across big agencies. His working style involves striving for a fine balance of rigorous analysis and a highly result-oriented thinking for simple, highly actionable & lucid output. He is a strong believer in business impact, having facilitated a handful of workshops which have led to marketing breakthroughs. Given his long-term experience handling certain categories such as foods, beverages, technology & personal care categories in challenging the Middle East North Africa geographies, he often acts as a regional trends’ & marketing consultant for some of Phosphene’s major clients.

His major work has been around:
Innovation – successful brand extension projects in Lebanon & KSA for major clients’ top brands
Market breakthroughs – applied thinking using digital methods & design thinking. Brought clarity & direction to a major beverage brand amidst shrinking market share to low price brands & inspired a turnaround.
Communication development – led/executed several communication studies starting from concept writing to creative development & testing
Bringing insights to life – designed studies that brought in-depth regional context to global positioning/platforms/TG definitions (e.g. millennials) of major brands.

His core areas of interest are sensory science & experiential design. He often understands pro bono consultancy work for the government and social agencies.
